Get Involved Gathering “GIG”

Come have lunch and get started volunteering in our community!

Our “Get Involved Gathering” (GIG) will introduce you to all the local nonprofits in one place. You can meet each one face-to-face, find out whose need matches up with your passions and schedule, then sign up for their specific “New Volunteer” training.

Also, receive free training on working with our Aging Adults – “Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Challenges” and another class on “Senior Dementia Challenges”.

There will be a special presentation by local town folks and our nonprofits clarifying their needs.

Schedule:

• 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm – Buffet lunch served from Stumblina’s Cantina, hear all the needs and meet all the non-profit leaders. No Pressure.
• 12:30pm – Trainings begin
• 3:00pm – Everyone exits
