One thing that is very important when deciding to jump into using social media for your business is – PICK ONE AND DO IT WELL! Don’t overwhelm yourself because you have heard you need to be everywhere. Pick one social media platform and use is correctly.
Choose the platform where your audience is. If your customers are local – Facebook and Instagram is a perfect place to start. Understanding that these two platforms are different too.
Learn the “language” of the platform you choose to use. The way you talk, or “language” is very different with each platform. Take a look at how we broke down the different languages using a cup of coffee. Each one is different. Do you use a #hashtag or not? Do I need to ask a question? Can I use an emoji?
