Come walk with us in our beautiful Sonoran Desert! We will leave the distracting Tech behind so we can talk about our Community. As we walk, here a some of the topics we will discuss; What are the unique needs of our Seniors?

- What can we do as individuals or as businesses?
- What are the other needs in our communities?
- What are the other LOCAL non-profits doing right now?
- What is FireWise and how is that helping eliminate fires?
- What are all these plants and animals out in the Sonoran Desert?
- What is Dark Skies and why is it important?
We see this event as a huge Win -Win-Win opportunity. We get to enjoy the desert at a perfect time of year (no snakes for sure). We can take time to understand our community better and be better community members and we cand directly impact the lives of our Seniors by just signing up! Join us in our love for the Carefree, Cave Creek and Desert Hills community. We are sure you will be glad you did!
Every step we take is a step toward supporting our senior neighbors’ independence. At Foothills Caring Corps, we’ve spent over two decades ensuring our older and disabled neighbors can live independently with dignity. Now, we’re inviting you to literally “step up” for seniors at our community Hike-a-thon!
About the Event
Lace up your boots for a meaningful morning at Cave Creek Regional Park! Whether you hike, walk, or roll, your participation helps ensure our neighbors can age in place with dignity.
